BOYS

Together with our partners Teatro Bulabanda, KadaKen, Drazans, Instituto Buena Bista and Hester Jonkhout, we are preparing an edition that will take place in early 2027. The focus is on boys growing up in difficult financial circumstances. What are their lives like, what dreams and ambitions do they have, what obstacles do they face? How are they supported, if at all? For example, by school, community work or government. To what extent do the specific circumstances of the colonial past or economic prospects play a role? We will start with an in-depth study and involve teachers, schools, community workers and social institutions, and above all the boys themselves and their families.
